Nando 's Portuguese Rice

Nando 's Rice

Ingredients

3 cups water +1 stock cube
1 tbsp oil + 20g butter
2 cups Basmati rice
2 cloves of garlic (diced)
1/4 red bell pepper (diced)
1/4 yellow bell pepper (diced)
1/4 green bell pepper (diced)
1 cup grean peas (fresh/ frozen)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric powde
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
2  onions (diced)
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Method
Boil water with stock cube  & keep aside.

Heat  oil in a pan & fry onions till translucent.
Fry for a while & the add diced vegetables.
Fry for a while & then add parika,chilli flakes, cumin & turmeric powder. 
Add basmati rice & mix well.
Stir in stock , cover & cook for 10 mn on medium heat;
Reduce the heat. When rice is 3/4 cooked add frozen peas.
Remove from fire & close the lid tightly .
Garnish with coriander leaves & serve.
