Malabar spinach is also called creeping spinach / Ceylon spinach / Indian Spinach.In Malayalam it's called "Vashala Cheera" / "Valli Cheera.Exists in two varieties - with green stems & red stems.The tender shoots of both are used for cooking. They are known for their nutritional value.
