Zucchini Prawn Sodhi - South Indian Prawn Stew
Ingredients
300g tiger prawns ( fresh/frozen)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
A Zucchini (peel & cut in chunks)
2 green chillies(half slit)
A big onion (sliced)
A tomato (sliced)
A piece of ginger (blend)
2 cloves of garlic (blend)
1/2tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Few curry leaves
Salt to taste
One cup coconut milk
Oil for frying
Method
Shell, devein and wash prawns using salt and turmeric.
Marinate in salt & red chilli powder keep in the refrigerator for an hour.

Heat oil in a pan & splutter mustard seeds.
Then add fenugreek & fennel seeds.
Then fry onions till translucent.
Then add zucchini chunks , green chillies , tomtoes & ginger garlic paste.
Fry for a while & then add chilli powder, coriander power & turmeric.
Cover & cook for a while.
When the zucchini is half cooked, add marinated prawns.
Simmer for another 5mn & remove from fire.
Add coconut milk & stir.
Garnish with fresh curry leaves & serve with rice.
