Cabbage Vada
Cabbage Vada
Ingredients
1/4 cabbage (finely sliced)
2 finely sliced onions
1 tsp chilli powder
1 egg
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger paste / chopped ginger
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp gram flour
mint leaves / coriander leaves ( chopped)
Oil for frying
Method
Mix first seven ingredients & keep aside for some time.
Add the gram flour & mix.
If the batter is thick add some water.
Keep aside for another 5mn.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Pour 1 tbsp full of the batter.
U can prepare 4/5 vada's at the same time .
Cook both sides of the vada until golden brown.
Remove using a slotted spoon & drain on a kitchen paper.
Serve hot with or as a starter.
