Pepper Sardines - Malabar Special
Ingredients
500g sardines (small)
11/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper powder (Tellicherry)
1 tbsp oil

Oil for frying
Curry leaves (optional)
Method
Prepare marinade - chilli powder + turmeric powder + salt + oil.
Cut, clean & then marinate sardines & keep in the refrigerator (2h).
Add black pepper powder & some oil .
Mix well & fry both sides on medium heat.
