Steamed Jackfruit Cake
Chakka Ada
Ingredients
2 cups rice powder
1 cup of coconut milk
1 cup mashed jackfruit
2 tbsp freshly grated coconut/ dessicated coconut
3 tbsp sugar / 5 jaggery cubes
Raisins & chopped cashews
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
A pinch of salt
Method
Blend pitted jackfruit into a fine paste.
If the jackfruit is not that ripe, cook for 5mn in water & then blend.
Mix all the ingredients & keep aside for sometime.
Place a plastic cover on a plate.
Take a lemon sized dough ball & flatten on it .
Fold it into semicircles & just press the edges.
Steam the mini ada's for 20 min.

Carrot-Mint Paratha
Carrot-Pudina Paratha
Ingredients
4 carrots
2 green chillies
A piece of ginger
Handfull of mint leaves
500 g flour
250 ml luke warm water
1 tsp salt
Oil
Method
Blend first four ingredients in a mixer & add to the flour.
Mix all the other ingredients & keep aside for 2/3 hours.
Make evenly sized balls.
Take a lemon sized ball & flatten it using a roller.
Heat non stick pan . Spread oil on it .
Add the roll out chappathi.
Spread some oil & press the edges.
Flip & cook the other side.
Repeat the process with other balls.
Serve hot with veg / non veg curry.

Auteuil Steeplechase Racecourse.
Hippodrome d'Auteuil
For Easter, Hippodrome d'Auteuil was opened to public.They offered several activities for kids - Pony Riding, Egg hunt & Merry- Go-Ground.
Wow! I saw horse racing for the first time in my life.
At the final lap, crazy public were shouting "Allez -- Allez".
Funny indeed to see a man with an oxygen cylinder queuing up to bet.
Hippodrome d'Auteuil is the sole steeple-chase racecourse in Paris.
This 33 hectare racecourse is located in the XVI eme arrondisement of Paris, close to Bois de Boulogne.

Jardin d'Acclimatation, Paris.
Easter Egg Hunting in "Jardin d'Acclimatation"
Leonidas conducted Easter egg hunting for kids in a Parisienne garden - Jardin d'Acclimatation.This garden is situated in the XVI eme arrondisement of Paris.
To celebrate this event, Leonidas made a 1.80m chocolate sculpture.
Above all they distributed 20,000 chocolate eggs for kids.

Yummy Easter pancakes
Pancake with Raisins
Ingredients
250g flour
2 tbsp sugar
30g melted butter
30g butter
15g fresh yeast
2 eggs
a pinch of salt
250 ml milk
1 cup raisins
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Method
Dilute yeast in 100 ml warm milk.
In a bowl , whisk together egg +milk+sugar +salt.
Pour the egg mixture & butter to flour & mix thoroughly (without any lumps).
Keep aside for half an hour.
Add raisins & cinnamon powder.
Heat a nonstick pan / griddle with little oil.
Pour a spoon full of batter.
Cover & cook until it's covered with bubbles.
Serve immmedietely with topping of your choice.

Cabbage Vada
Cabbage Vada 
Ingredients
1/4 cabbage (finely sliced)
2 finely sliced onions
1 tsp chilli powder
1 egg
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger paste / chopped ginger
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp gram flour
mint leaves / coriander leaves ( chopped)
Oil for frying
Method
Mix first seven ingredients & keep aside for some time.
Add the gram flour & mix.
If the batter is thick add some water.
Keep aside for another 5mn.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Pour 1 tbsp full of the batter.
U can prepare 4/5 vada's at the same time .
Cook both sides of the vada until golden brown.
Remove using a slotted spoon & drain on a kitchen paper.
Serve hot with 
or as a starter.

Radish Yogurt Curry - Kalan
Radish Moru Curry
Ingredients
1 bunch of radish
2 tomatoes
3 yogurts (125 g each)
1 tbsp oil.
1 glass water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp coconut paste (optional)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds.
1/2 tsp cumin powder
curry leaves.
Method
Wash & cut radishes in strips *4.
Cut the tomatoes & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan & add mustard seeds.
When in pops, add radishes & tomatoes.
Stir for a while.
Add salt, turmeric powder,chilli powder ,cumin seeds.
Stir for a while & add water.
Simmer & cook for about 10 min.
Add coconut paste & stir well.
Remove from fire & set aside to cool.
Add whipped yogurt & stir.
Garnish with cumin powder & curry leaves .
Serve with rice.
Curry in yogurt/ buttermilk is called "Moru Curry" in Malabar & Kalan in South Kerala. You can replace radishes with courgettes / plantain / yam / papaya.
